I work in a retail environment along what just so happens to be one of the most well traversed streets in savannah, GA. So, naturally I get to see what people wear on an every day basis. But I have noticed what seems to be a rash, or more accurately a plague of these giraffe print handbags. As a maker of bags and a fashion devote this bag just hits my eye the wrong way. I know it's supposed to be chic and I even own a leopard print sweater myself. I even think that animal print can be classic and super chic. For instance Edie Sedgwick and her leopard print coat will always be an iconic thing of beauty in my book. I don't know what it is about this bag! Is it the over exposure and blatant cheap knock-offery? Or is it like Doc Martens and hair scrunchies? Stylish until sheer practicality opens the gapping wormhole that is passe?
